International Conference

The International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC) invites the submission of papers describing original, previously unpublished work in all areas of Computer Science. The SCCC conference is a forum for the presentation of recent original work and it is an opportunity for students and researchers to extend their research network.

TOPICS OF INTEREST

The 40th version of this event will be held Online. The conference is sponsored by IEEE Chile Section Computer Chapter and the Chilean Computer Science Society. We call for submissions on the broad field of computer science and informatics, considering the following topics of interest (but not limited to):

  • Algorithms
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Bioinformatics
  • Business process mining
  • Business process models
  • Collaborative systems
  • Computer games

TOPICS OF INTEREST (1)

Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the conference. Papers can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese, from 4 pages up to 8 pages, according to the contribution of the paper.

Papers in Spanish or Portuguese must have their title and abstract in English. Submissions will be made through the  EasyChair system. To state their participation intent, authors should previously submit the abstract of their papers in time for the Abstract Deadline. This helps ensure that appropriate reviewers are assigned to each paper.

By submitting a paper, authors implicitly agree that at least one of them must be registered as author at the conference in order to present the paper. Only papers that have been presented by their authors during the conference may be published in the IEEE Proceedings, if they meet the IEEE quality review standards.

Submissions must be formatted according to the IEEE CS proceedings format (US letter) [www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html]

Presentations must be prerecorded in video, and authors must be present (on-line) during their presentation time (according to sessions schedule) to answer questions immediately after their video, and at the end of the corresponding session. Video format requirements details will be available for authors of accepted papers.
